The Pilot Plants will be Beneficial in the following critical sectors of the economy:
Disinfection: used for disinfecting areas contaminated with bacterial and viral infection such as COVID-19. Also used to disinfect potable water.
Endodontics: Sodium hypochlorite is the medicament of choice due to its efficacy against pathogenic organisms and pulp digestion in endodontic therapy
Deodorizing: Sodium hypochlorite has deodorizing properties, which go hand in hand with its cleaning properties
Reduction of skin damage: Dilute bleach baths have been used for decades to treat moderate to severe eczema in humans
Nerve agent neutralization
It is commonly used as a biocide in industrial applications to control slime and
bacteria formation in water systems used at power plants, pulp and paper mills,.
Used to treat dilute cyanide waste water, such as electroplating wastes
