The event of the Award of Patent certificate to NARICT on modified technology for the coproduction of high-purity calcium carbonate (PCC) and high-concentration sodium hydroxide from lime and sodium carbonate.
The Honourable Minister of Innovation Science and Technology Mr. Geoffrey Uche Nnaji,
on behalf of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,
presented the certificate to the DG/CEO of NARICT Engr. Dr. Kabiru Mu’azu on Monday 27th January 2025 in Abuja.
Flanking the DG/CEO during the receipt of the award were DG/CEO of National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP),
Engr. Dr. Zaharaddeen Sani Gano (Director Research/Head, Petrochemicals and Allied Department) and
Engr. Bashir Inuwa (S.A. Technical to the DG/CEO).
