On Tuesday, 17th June 2025, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Zaria Small Taxpayers Office paid a courtesy visit to the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology (NARICT), Zaria. The FIRS delegation, led by Malam Ibrahim Musa Usman, was warmly received by the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of NARICT, Engr. Dr. Kabiru Mu'azu, along with members of the Institute’s Management Team.
During the meeting, Malam Usman outlined the purpose of the visit, highlighting the FIRS’s critical role in government revenue generation. He emphasized the importance of tax compliance, public awareness, and accurate data collection in supporting effective service delivery.
In his response, Engr. Dr. Mu'azu expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the FIRS team for their proactive engagement. He presented an overview of NARICT’s mandate, operational framework, mission, and vision, reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to advancing research and development in chemical technology.
Both parties discussed potential areas of collaboration, recognizing NARICT’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to national revenue through its innovative research outputs and commercial activities.
