On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology (NARICT) hosted SAJ Foods Limited, a local company based in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, to formalize a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing SAJ Foods' production capacity through technology transfer and technical services.
Leading the NARICT delegation, Director-General and CEO Engr. Dr. Kabiru Mu'azu welcomed SAJ Foods' initiative for technology transfer. The priority project will focus on deploying and operating a tomato paste production plant, utilizing NARICT’s existing technological innovations. Dr. Mu'azu assured that NARICT will provide consultancy and technical support throughout the partnership.
SAJ Foods Limited’s Managing Director, Alhaji Sunusi Abdullahi, expressed his gratitude to NARICT’s management for their dedication to the collaboration and anticipates a successful partnership that will foster growth and innovation.
To drive the initiative forward, a technical team has been established, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to formalize the agreement.
